Forest Floor

The lighting wasn't great this day for shooting dramatic Yosemite landscapes. So I decided to look instead for valley "detail" compositions. I often try to pre-visualize certain images I'd like to capture during an outing, but it's just as important to keep mind and eyes open for unplanned opportunities that lie quietly in wait.
