Seasonal Transition, Bishop Creek Canyon

I think I was here at the exact moment the season changed from fall to winter. When I arived at this spot it was raining. After about 20 minutes, the rain turned to snow. Neither form of precipitation registered in the image, but the soft lighting of the dense, low clouds and moisture in the air caused the colors in the scene to really "pop."
