Moving Rock, The Racetrack, Death Valley

These moving rocks remain an unsolved geologic mystery. Many believe the phenomenon results from a combination of shallow flooding, ice and strong winds. Whatever the cause, the Racetrack was one of the most surreal places I've ever been...well worth the 30 miles of bone-jarring dirt road you need to endure to get there.
